Responsibilities
Support workload distribution and ensure timely completion of AR and denial management tasks
Assist with insurance and patient collections, denial resolution, appeals, and claim re-submissions
Serve as a resource for team questions related to collections and denial processes
Help resolve inquiries on active and aged accounts professionally and efficiently
Provide side-by-side training, work review, and coaching to team members
Communicate productivity or training concerns to leadership
Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and improve workflows
Support team goals related to collections accuracy, denial resolution, and productivity
Maintain knowledge of medical supplies, coding, LCDs, payer guidelines, and denial strategies
Assist with RCM system updates and workflow changes
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of AR or Denial Management experience, preferably in DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
1–2 years of leadership, training, or coaching experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, database systems, Brightree, and Salesforce
Familiarity with call center telecommunications systems
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred
Experience interpreting payer guidelines and medical supply
