Responsibilities
Oversee and perform billing functions for insurance-related matters within a legal environment
Prepare and process e‑bills accurately, including handling and reconciling multiple LEDES files
Use Aderant and excel to draft, review, and finalize invoices
Partner with attorneys, legal staff, and accounting personnel to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with established guidelines
Track outstanding insurance claims and payments, following up proactively to support timely revenue collection
Maintain strong organizational practices and attention to detail while working in a deadline-driven setting
Qualification
Required
5+ years of billing experience in a law firm environment
Strong proficiency with Aderant billing software
Extensive experience with e‑billing and insurance billing processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Pre‑Bill Viewer or similar billing review platforms
