7+ years expOleOle is building the world’s first decentralized football super app, a platform that combines social media, messaging, and crypto rewards for football fans. They are seeking a hands-on CTO to lead the technical strategy and execution, building the platform's architecture and overseeing engineering direction alongside a small team.

Responsibilities
Design and lead development of the native Rust backend, including APIs, microservices, and system architecture
Integrate and manage real-time messaging infrastructure using WebSockets and event-driven services
Oversee the Solana-based OleX token, including smart contract development, wallet logic, and payments architecture
Build the backend framework for AI-powered features, including translation, recommendation engines, and user content analysis
Ensure security, scalability, and performance across all systems, especially in crypto and gambling environments
Partner with the CEO and broader team to align technical goals with the company’s global vision
Qualification
Required
7-10+ years as a CTO
Experience leading engineering teams at early-stage startups
Hands-on experience with Rust
Experience with blockchain technology
Experience launching or scaling token-based platforms
Prior ICO experience is a big plus
Ability to design and lead development of native Rust backend, including APIs, microservices, and system architecture
Experience integrating and managing real-time messaging infrastructure using WebSockets and event-driven services
Experience overseeing Solana-based OleX token, including smart contract development, wallet logic, and payments architecture
Experience building backend framework for AI-powered features, including translation, recommendation engines, and user content analysis
Ability to ensure security, scalability, and performance across all systems, especially in crypto and gambling environments
Ability to partner with the CEO and broader team to align technical goals with the company's global vision
Ability to mentor and develop a young engineering team
Ability to work hands-on with the codebase, setting up best practices
Ability to coordinate development timelines for Phase 1 (7–8 months) and Phase 2 (9–10 months)
Ability to align with the vision to build the world's largest sports social platform
Creative problem solver who can courageously propose and support new ideas
Ability to adapt and solve a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies
Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growing pains of an early-stage technology company
