Vice President, Investor Relations

Architect Equity is a Los Angeles-based private equity firm seeking to establish an investor relations function at its headquarters in El Segundo. The Vice President of Investor Relations will manage communication and data sharing with limited partners, ensuring transparency and supporting fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for LP inquiries and disseminate regular updates. This includes preparing and distributing quarterly/annual financial reports, fund commentaries, and performance updates detailing fund returns and portfolio developments. Also ensuring that the reporting requirements for each limited partner are achieved in a timely manner
Build and maintain strong, positive, long-term relationships with existing LPs through consistent and transparent interaction. This involves organizing meetings (including annual general meetings or AGMs), calls, and events to address concerns and provide insights into future strategies
Monitor key performance metrics, manage and maintain investor databases (CRM systems), and ensure performance data is accurately analyzed and presented to investors
Ensure all communications and activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance guidelines. Gather investor feedback to provide valuable market intelligence to the firm's management, influencing strategy
Play an active role in future capital raising by assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks, and investor presentations. IR professionals also conduct outreach to potential investors and facilitate the due diligence process

Required

Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field preferred
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, or a related field
Must be accretive to our 'team first' culture and be comfortable with shared decision-making processes and collaboration
Strong financial, analytical, and quantitative skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills
Proficiency with financial software, CRM systems, and investor portals
The ability to work well under pressure and manage confidential information
