Responsibilities
Support a high volume of inbound customer calls and emails related to Procurement to Payment (P2P) operations
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding order status, backorders, returns (RTVs), invoice payments, and payment requests
Research, analyze, and resolve customer issues accurately and efficiently
Provide guidance on proper use of eProcurement systems and invoice submission processes
Log all calls and interactions in the call tracking system per department policies
Collaborate closely with Procurement and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Escalate or triage complex issues when necessary
Maintain working knowledge of P2P procedures, systems, and supply chain operations
Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service with strong attention to detail
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (call center experience preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, procurement, or accounts payable environments
Familiarity with ERP systems
Knowledge of medical supply or commodity terminology
Candidates with call center or food service backgrounds tend to perform very well in this role
