Responsibilities

Conceive, launch, and produce high-impact content series such as rankings, market maps, and other high-impact experiences for dealmakers in private capital markets
Create charts and visual assets to accompany news and research across editorial channels
Update and maintain editorial dashboards that support ongoing coverage
Collaborate with journalists, analysts and designers to create and edit charts, interactives, and dashboards that enhance storytelling
Work with data analysts to pull, structure, and QA datasets that power scalable content experiences
Follow and enforce data visual standards with minimal oversight
Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
2+ years of experience in web production, design, data visualization, multimedia journalism or a related field
Experience producing charts and interactives using modern visualization tools
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and experience working within structured editorial workflows
Proficient with Excel and able to manipulate and analyze data for storytelling
Strong written communication skills, particularly in explaining insights through data
Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Journalism experience is advantageous but not required
Familiarity with Python or JavaScript desirable; experience with Git preferred
Interest in financial markets and data-driven storytelling
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
