Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and integrated management systems (IMS)
Maintain quality control systems and procedures
Monitor, audit, and evaluate production processes to detect and correct deviations from quality standards
Inspect and test materials, processes, and products for compliance
Analyze quality data and create reports for management
Train staff on quality control practices and procedures
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their products/services meet company standards
Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives
Document all processes related to quality management and standardization
Conduct regular internal audits and support external audits
Recommend and implement quality improvement plans

Required

4+ years of experience working with quality systems, preferably in a service environment
Experience with quality assurance procedures, tools, and methods
High School diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Continuous improvement mindset
Ability to train and mentor staff
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

Preferred

Post-secondary education/training in business, supply chain, or a related discipline preferred
Degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality management) is advantageous
ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification preferred
Six Sigma, OSHA Safety, or Certified Quality Technician certifications are beneficial
Proficiency with ISO 9001 methodologies
