Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter

Extract data from multiple sources (RDBMS, flat files, APIs, cloud sources)

Transform and load data into data warehouses and data marts

Create and maintain mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, and worklets

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error handling

Optimize ETL performance (partitioning, indexing, tuning)

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders

Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve production issues

Maintain technical documentation and follow SDLC best practices

Support enhancements and ongoing maintenance of ETL systems

Required

3–7+ years of experience in ETL development

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter

Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc.)

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)

Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting

Knowledge of ETL best practices, data quality, and data governance

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
