Engineer II - Test

They are seeking a Test Engineer Level II to support the Advanced Compact EW Solutions operations test and manufacturing team, focusing on test processes, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve defects.

Responsibilities
Support manufacturing with all aspects of the test processes of Electronic warfare hardware and their lower-level assemblies
Provide test failure debug, resolution, and appropriate direction to operations personnel to perform necessary rework
Generate rework direction in the Paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES) based on debug findings
Interface with Engineering and other supporting groups to drive defect resolution to root cause
Support test equipment maintenance, including Test Solutions and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment
Assist in the generation and implementation of improvements in test design, processes, and methodologies to reduce cost and increase throughput
Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation associated with the design and build of digital and RF electronic warfare products
Support test equipment validation and movement as required to support factory needs
Provide training / support to manufacturing personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
Minimum of 2 or more years of related work experience that includes experience in a test engineering capacity
Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing and test engineering if non-degreed
Strong oral and written communication skills
Well versed with computer skills including Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of RF and digital instrumentations (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources)
Preferred
Lean/Six Sigma experience such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience with Paperless manufacturing execution system
Experience with RF and digital test equipment (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of circuit cards and components and basic electrical systems
Experience with debugging or troubleshooting both CCA and system hardware
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
