Responsibilities

Provide actuarial and analytical support on various insurance business lines and programs
Participate in consulting mandates by providing support on pricing analysis, loss reserving, profit-sharing analysis, financial forecasting, scenario modeling, claims analytics, dashboard reporting, industry benchmarking, and other ad hoc analysis
Support actuarial and non-actuarial consultants by preparing and reconciling data, developing summary analyses, producing reports and presentations, and assisting with client and third-party communications etc
Leverage technical skills to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, develop innovative approaches to complex actuarial and analytical problems
Assist with client RFP (Request for Proposal) processes by summarizing vendor partnership proposals and providing analytical support for evaluation
Assist with other research and presentation material for new client prospects

Required

University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science or computer science (or other relevant technical specialization)
Actively pursuing an actuarial designation through a recognized professional association
Highly organized, resourceful and excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with manipulating and summarizing large data sets using R, Python, SQL or similar programming tools

Preferred

Fluency in French (highly valued)
Experience with summarizing and visualizing data using dashboard reporting tools like Power BI
Experience with personal insurance programs
Experience with automation or AI-enabled tools
