Responsibilities

Monitor and manage daily operations, including processing enrollments, drops, and invoices across the SES footprint
Review and analyze reporting to identify trends, errors, or exceptions and take appropriate corrective action
Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries, collaborating with other departments to ensure positive outcomes
Analyze operational errors to determine root causes and implement improvements to reduce future occurrences
Validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity of critical business information
Communicate and coordinate with utilities as needed to resolve operational issues
Support cross-functional projects and new initiatives, providing operational insights and recommendations
Maintain thorough documentation of processes and controls for operational activities
Provide backup support for fellow analysts as required
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
2–4 years of experience in the energy industry, preferably within retail energy operations
Knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO, NEISO, and CAISO markets
Familiarity with PUC and utility standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in accurate data analysis
Proven business writing skills and experience preparing professional communications
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain productive working relationships
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a learner's approach to professional development
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
