Development Manager Opportunity with a Berkeley-Based Nonprofit, Child Care Law Center (East Bay)
The Child Care Law Center (CCLC) works to educate, advocate, and litigate to make child care a civil right. The Development Manager will work with the Senior Development Manager to build CCLC’s individual donor base and support the organization’s network of foundation funders.

Responsibilities
Oversees donor communications, CRM systems, and special events
Partners with the Senior Development Manager to implement fundraising strategies
Collaborates with the Communications & Advocacy Manager to design and create external communications for donors and other funders
Manages key projects including the annual Impact Report and Uncorked fundraiser
Maintains high-quality donor data systems and supports organization-wide development planning and coordination
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates a justice-oriented understanding of how race and power impacts child care providers and families
Consistently applies racial justice and an equity lens to all CCLC development work
Oversees donor communications
