Reviewing claims to identify, evaluate, analyze, and interpret subrogation potential
Looking over claims, requesting documentation, and asking necessary questions to fully realize the liabilities and determine recovery potential
Completing the appropriate steps to secure recovery of claims
Coordinating with other departments to ensure accurate identification of claims for subrogation potential
Evaluating accuracy of records and coordinating all recovery payments
Meeting performance measures
Having and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the health insurance industry with a particular knowledge of subrogation
Working independently
Ensuring potential subrogation cases are identified and ensuring funds that are able to be recovered are recovered
Positively serving in the role of 'Brand Ambassador' within the local community
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of Microsoft Excel and Word experience
Experience in health insurance claims processing
Active driver's license
Solid human relations skills
Strong time management and prioritization capabilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
Preferred
Experience in health insurance claims processing and claims system
