Employee Benefits Account Manager
JCW Group is a growing insurance brokerage seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to support their expanding Employee Benefits practice. The role involves managing the full employee benefits lifecycle for small employer groups, including client meetings, placement, renewal, and ongoing service.
Responsibilities
Own the full employee benefits lifecycle for small employer groups (2–25 lives), from initial client meetings through placement, renewal, and ongoing service
Lead client discovery, gather underwriting information, set expectations, and advise on available benefit solutions
Market, negotiate, and place business with carriers and MGAs, including pricing, structuring, and binding coverage
Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining frequent communication and managing relationships to close and retain business
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of employee benefits account management experience
Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort leading conversations with business owners
Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-growing environment
Preferred
Experience working with small group accounts
