HR Generalist

Complete Staffing Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee various HR functions. The role includes managing employee onboarding and offboarding, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities

Administer and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for all team members
Manage employee relations, address concerns, and resolve workplace conflicts in accordance with company policies and employment laws
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating candidate selection
Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including personnel files, benefits enrollment, and time-off requests
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and company policies
Coordinate performance management activities, such as annual reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans
Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and workplace productivity
Provide guidance and support to management and staff regarding HR best practices and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR processes, and employment regulations
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus
Experience in employee training and development
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Manufacturing and service industry experience a plus
