Responsibilities

Evaluating new investment opportunities, ranging from market assessment to competitive positioning, to initial underwriting and deal structuring
Due diligence on active deals, including business diligence, risk underwriting, and managing external advisors
Collaborating with the team on building robust, flexible financial models to support deal underwriting and deal structuring efforts
Providing guidance and support for transaction negotiations
Overseeing the hands-on support to portfolio companies

Required

5 – 8 years of investment banking or private equity experience
Bachelor's degree with strong GPA from a leading university
Fluency in Spanish
Extensive experience in Latin America in target sectors (energy, transportation, digital, and/or water and waste)
A high level of conviction and commitment to investment in infrastructure
Strong background in finance and economics
Superior analytical, financial modeling, and accounting skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Focus on talent development, with the ability to receive and deliver feedback well
High level of professionalism, collaboration, and self-awareness
