This role focuses on embedding cybersecurity across products and solutions in the Autonomy & Automation Business Unit while collaborating with global teams to develop and execute cybersecurity strategies.

Responsibilities
Support Cat Technology in the A&A Business Unit as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Contribute to scaling autonomous and automated solutions to enhance customer safety and productivity
Provide leadership around embedding cybersecurity into Caterpillar’s products, solutions, and services
Collaborate with RI, CI, and DT&D teams and global Caterpillar IT resources
Apply strong technical expertise across cybersecurity domains and stay current with industry trends
Integrate and collaborate with DT&D business partners to understand strategies and challenges
Provide cybersecurity leadership for defining, prioritizing, and executing initiatives
Evaluate solutions and identify improvements aligned with secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and Caterpillar security directives
Assist with solution architecture development and security architecture reviews
Support cyber governance, risk, and compliance processes
Drive remediation of known vulnerabilities and develop sustainable vulnerability management strategies
Track and report key cybersecurity metrics
Develop strategies to address major cyber-risk areas
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security procedures, directives, and controls
Participate in working groups and provide guidance on architecture, design, and security practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience
Master's degree with 8+ years of experience
10+ years in information security or solution development/engineering
