The HR Coordinator will serve as a bridge between the Branches, BSC and NearU Human Resource Department, focusing on recruitment and onboarding processes.
Customer Service
Responsibilities
Coordinate pre-employment activities such as background checks, drug screening, MVR, etc
Initiates candidates electronic onboarding process and maintains communication with incoming employees
Initiates new hires training including safety and compliance training
Completes the HR new hire electronic forms – E-Verify, policy acknowledgement forms, etc
Supports HR in maintaining legal compliance – managing expired documents, filing documents, etc
May assist with the processing or auditing of terminations
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Assists in the coordination and/or communication of HR activities or programs
Maintain trackers for a variety of onboarding activities
Support recruitment team to source candidates on Indeed proactively
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience in human resources
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to influence and manage upward
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal oversight
Maintain a high level of professionalism, leadership presence, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates
Advanced user in MS Excel and Powerpoint
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other related field, or extensive experience within HR
Experience working within a HR Information System including online applicant tracking tool and job boards
