Start in 2026 SummerRoche is a leading biotechnology company, and they are seeking a Summer Intern for their Cell Therapy and Synthetic Immunity group. The intern will implement AI/ML approaches, document efforts and code, and communicate findings effectively while contributing to a bioinformatic pipeline.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for implementing one or more AI/ML approaches in close collaboration with colleagues with and without expertise in AI/ML and bioinformatics
The candidate will be responsible for documenting their efforts and code effectively such that colleagues will be able to replicate their efforts before and after their departure
The candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating their technical and scientific findings in both smaller project meetings and larger group presentation formats
More detailed project objectives will be tailored to the candidate’s strengths, and an ideal outcome for the project would be significant contributions to a robust bioinformatic pipeline of patent or publication quality
Qualification
Required
Must have attained a Master's Degree
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Bioinformatics, Computer Science or related fields, Biology
The candidate must be familiar with motif analysis and machine learning approaches
The candidate must be comfortable with programming in Python, R, and/or Julia, ideally in an HPC setting
Preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
