Responsibilities
Own and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, leaves, accommodations, and performance management
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on People-related matters, including policies, benefits, and sensitive employee relations issues
Oversee payroll, benefits, and HR operations through a PEO (Justworks), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
Maintain employee records and manage HR systems, reporting, and documentation
Ensure People policies and processes are effective, compliant, and consistently applied
Partner closely with leadership to support managers and foster a healthy, high-performing culture
Plan and support employee engagement initiatives, including team events and offsites
Create and deliver clear, thoughtful employee communications across People programs and updates
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in a People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner role
Hands-on experience with payroll and benefits administration
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Experience owning and optimizing HR systems; comfort with data and reporting
Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to navigate sensitive conversations
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable; able to balance strategy with detail
Preferred
Startup or high-growth company experience strongly preferred
