Human Resources Generalist
LHH is working with an organization in Newark, NJ that is looking to hire an HR Generalist on a temporary indefinite basis. This is a hybrid role focusing on supporting the People and Culture department with various HR tasks including hiring processes and employee inquiries.
Responsibilities
Assist the People and Culture department with administrative tasks
Support the hiring process from posting jobs to onboarding new hires
Work on HRIS reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy
Answer employee questions regarding benefits and payroll
Contribute to the organizations DE&I initiatives
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of HR Coordinator experience
Bachelor's Degree, ideally in HR
At least 1 year of corporate HR experience
Experience using an ATS and/or HRIS
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Organized and detail oriented
Preferred
Non Profit experience is a plus
