Responsibilities
Lead and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support
Design and build UI-first workflows using modern frontend frameworks, with a strong emphasis on usability and self-service
Migrate legacy UI workflows to a new architecture and platform
Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL APIs, including schema consumption, mutations, and secure data access
Collaborate with backend engineers to modernize systems and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
Build and maintain integrations with upstream and downstream systems
Partner closely with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into intuitive user experiences
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
Qualification
Required
5+ years of frontend or UI engineering experience, with deep expertise in React or similar modern frameworks
Strong hands-on experience working with GraphQL (query design, mutations, schema understanding, field-level security)
Experience consuming RESTful APIs alongside GraphQL services
Working knowledge of backend systems (e.g., Java / Spring Boot) with the ability to self-serve when needed
Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with non-technical partners
Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code quality
Preferred
Experience building internal tools or enterprise applications
Exposure to financial or accounting systems
Background in modernizing or migrating legacy UI platforms
