Responsibilities

Actively assists customers/beneficiaries throughout the process of applying for and ongoing coverage of Medicaid benefits
Gather, review, and investigate beneficiary information and determine if an approval for Medicaid is possible, based on Medicaid policies
Accurately entering client data in the computer system
Reading and comprehending the policy manual and obtaining a general working knowledge of Medicaid policies and programs
Keeping abreast of policy updates and changes
Assisting clients with questions and concerns as they come in or call into the office
Assist with training of new office staff
Must be deadline oriented and organized
Utilize reports for timely maintenance of assigned applications and caseloads

Required

Background in customer service
