Responsibilities
Litigate commercial disputes from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Take and defend depositions
Prepare for and handle or participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation management
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Manage caseload efficiently while meeting litigation deadlines and billable requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of commercial litigation experience required
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
Active Ohio bar license required
Preferred
Commercial litigation and/or employment litigation experience is strongly preferred
Employment Litigation experience is a plus, but not required
Active Michigan bar license a plus
Candidates who have more than six years of commercial litigation or employment experience, or who looking for a reduced billable workload, are encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis
