Responsibilities
The Applications Architect serves as a subject matter expert and project facilitator within the information services department
The position is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders both within and outside of Grady Health System
The Applications Architect is responsible for obtaining and sustaining an expert knowledge and understanding of multiple software applications, their integrated design and workflows
This position conducts design, build, testing, and maintenance within the Epic platform and other applications
Additionally, this position facilitates business requirement discussions and testing with outside vendors and software
The Applications Architect will provide technical guidance and mentoring for the information systems department
This position will collaborate with the application build team, leadership, and stakeholders to evaluate technical deficiencies/inefficiencies across applications; in efforts to develop effective strategies to resolve issues and ensure application build align with the business
Qualification
Required
Expert knowledge and understanding of multiple software applications, their integrated design and workflows
Experience conducting design, build, testing, and maintenance within the Epic platform and other applications
Ability to facilitate business requirement discussions and testing with outside vendors and software
Technical guidance and mentoring for the information systems department
Collaboration with the application build team, leadership, and stakeholders to evaluate technical deficiencies/inefficiencies across applications
Development of effective strategies to resolve issues and ensure application build aligns with the business
