Responsibilities
Adopt a consultative approach by partnering with stakeholders to assess business challenges, recommend tailored BI strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Collect, process, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis
Work closely with business units to understand information needs and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions
Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles
Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
Experience in the energy or utilities sector
Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
