Responsibilities
In this position, you will play an integral role in the histology analysis by establishing and executing a tissue processing pipeline on-site
You will work across teams to receive mouse, rat, and NHP tissue samples and prepare them for histology analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience
Experience in processing and tracking histology samples
Experience performing FFPE and OCT sample processing, embedding and sectioning for a variety of tissues and species
Experience performing special stains such as H&E, PAS, Trichrome, etc
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Industry experience preferred
Experience preparing slides for DNA and RNA analysis (RNAscope, Visium, etc.) is a plus
Training in sample management workflows
Exceptional organizational skills including SOP documentation, and record-keeping using ELN platforms such as Benchling
