Responsibilities
Lead full project buyout for awarded construction projects
Negotiate subcontractor and vendor agreements, pricing, and scope
Partner with Estimating, Project Management, and Operations teams
Ensure buyout aligns with estimate, contract requirements, and project strategy
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and schedule
Support projects across NYC and New England markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and suppliers
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in construction purchasing / procurement
Proven track record buying out jobs for a GC or CM
Strong understanding of subcontractor scopes, contracts, and cost control
Experience on commercial, institutional, healthcare, higher-ed, or similar projects
Confident negotiator who understands risk, scope gaps, and schedule impacts
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
