Responsibilities
Schedule and manage all home care cases, including current and prospective clients
Proactively resolve staffing challenges related to client or caregiver schedule changes
Maintain accurate scheduling logs, staffing calendars, and attendance records
Track and document approved and unapproved caregiver absences
Notify management promptly of all staffing issues
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all scheduling calendars
Document all on-call occurrences and communicate updates to the scheduling team verbally and/or in writing
Verify timecards against schedules for payroll and billing accuracy
Process caregiver clock-ins and clock-outs and record payroll data
Maintain strict confidentiality of client, employee, and agency information
Qualification
Required
Minimum of one year of scheduling experience required, particularly in: Home care, Healthcare, Hospitality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation required
Valid auto insurance required
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Working knowledge of WellSky or similar home care scheduling software preferred
Non-medical in-home care or home health experience preferred
