Responsibilities

Responsible for new account development and/or the expansion of existing accounts within an established geographic bank territory
Demonstrate a deep understanding and broad knowledge of merchant pricing, software, gateways, security as well as expert industry knowledge in Healthcare, Retail, Restaurant, Multi-Mid, Municipalities, Business to Business and Government entities
Maintain an active and healthy pipeline while increasing revenue by referrals received and required self-sourcing referral opportunities
Understand the client organization and strategy to enable merchant processors to engage and navigate throughout the enterprise. Defines relevant proposals for each client and qualifies opportunities to ensure a high probability of win and successful delivery. Accountable for the profitability of the client; achieve agreed revenue targets
Help execute Merchant Services Sales campaigns in the branches and manage receipt, review, and follow up of sales referrals received from bank partners
Assist with RFPS
Attend business development meetings, Branch Meetings, and other regional sales and market meetings to share Merchant Services sales priorities, current campaigns, product training and knowledge sharing, and business development opportunities
Partner with Treasury Management Sales Officers regularly to review Treasury Management and Merchant Services sales pipelines to identify partnership opportunities
Support other Merchant Services Representative in a mentor capacity to junior sales officers and serves as a backup when they are out of the office and cannot cover their established geographic regions
Advocate for Merchant Services Representatives
Accepts other duties as assigned by Management
