Sr. People Operations Specialist

The Senior People Operations Specialist will serve as the primary HR resource for the Farmers Branch location, managing HR functions, driving process improvements, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for all employees, providing guidance on policies and programs
Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that align with business goals and support workforce growth
Establish and refine HR processes for the new location, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Collaborate with leadership to roll out programs and systems locally, adapting them to meet site-specific needs
Act as the primary on-site contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation sessions, introducing employees to company culture, policies, and resources
Partner with hiring managers to ensure all onboarding steps are completed accurately and timely, including system setup and benefits enrollment
Communicate and support health, welfare, and retirement programs; assist with leave programs (FMLA, ADA, state-specific) and workers’ compensation
Act as a resource for employees on benefits and leave inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
Maintain HRIS and related platforms, ensuring data accuracy and supporting system enhancements
Partner with IT and vendors on integrations and troubleshooting
Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies
Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work
