Ramboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company seeking interns for their Summer 2026 internship program in Arlington, VA. Interns will work with project managers to conduct analysis of environmental data and develop client deliverables, gaining experience in various practice areas.

Responsibilities

Research and document review; conduct data compilation, review, QC, and analysis

Review of governmental agency reports, databases, regulations, correspondence, and historical records to understand environmental contamination and compliance concerns at industrial sites

Analysis of regulatory programs, sustainability/ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues, and EHS (environmental, health, and safety) risks relevant to certain industry sectors or companies

Preparation of draft data visualization or written summary deliverables for internal and external audiences

Site visits to local industrial sites with other Ramboll team members (upon completion of health and safety orientation and training) to conduct visual observations and interviews

Required

Candidates should be working toward a B.S or M.S degree in a relevant engineering, geology, science, or chemistry field with an interest in pursuing a career in environmental consulting

Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above are strongly preferred

Candidates with the completion of 4 college semesters (rising Junior status) are strongly preferred

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position
