Responsibilities
Supervise teams across multiple studio locations during various production shoots, including Performance Capture and ADR/Voiceover work
Schedule team coverage for any production needs across stages and remote locations
Facilitate training of new Capture Technicians
Perform managerial duties such as 1:1s, prepping and presenting annual performance reviews, approving timesheets, and approving expense reports
Quickly identify problems and provide solutions to help keep our systems and equipment operational in real time
Review and approve plans for equipment maintenance and supplies replenishment
Support inter-departmental workflows to keep up with the pace and demands of production
Developing professional relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside our department
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience working in motion capture technology or as part of a motion capture animation pipeline
5+ years experience in team management
Established leadership skills with track record of building and leveling up strong team members
Experience using both still and video cameras, including knowledge of motion capture head mounted cameras
Basic understanding of video signals, connectors, and cabling
Ability to work collaboratively with others to share knowledge, expertise, and standard processes
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative
Preferred
Experience with editing software such as Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro
