Creative Resource Manager
M+C Saatchi SSK is a leading independent creative agency group that values diversity and inclusion. They are seeking a Creative Resource Manager to oversee staffing, workflow, and resource allocation across their creative department, acting as a central hub between various teams to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day and long-range resourcing for creative teams (design, art direction, copy, motion, UX, creative technology, etc.)
Maintain and update weekly staffing plans, ensuring accurate visibility into workloads and upcoming project needs
Assign creative resources based on skill set, availability, and project priority in partnership with project managers and creative leads
Balance workloads to prevent burnout while maximizing utilization and efficiency across the department
Collaborate with department leads and project management to forecast upcoming resource needs based on pipeline, scopes, and budgets
Identify resourcing gaps and recommend freelance, contract, or full-time staffing solutions
Maintain a strong network of freelance creative talent (designers, writers, editors, motion artists, etc.)
Partner with creative leadership to refine workflow, resourcing, and communication processes
Ensure project briefs, timelines, and expectations are clearly communicated to creatives
Improve systems for tracking workloads, resource planning, and utilization reporting
Support onboarding of new creative employees and freelancers, ensuring smooth integration into agency processes
Serve as the connective tissue between Creative, Project Management, Account, Strategy, and Production teams
Facilitate weekly resource meetings and status reviews
Communicate changes in staffing, scope, and priorities with clarity and diplomacy
Track utilization metrics and report trends to leadership
Manage freelancer contracts, onboarding, and time tracking
Maintain accurate documentation of resourcing decisions and project assignments
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of experience in resource management, project management, operations, or traffic management in a creative or advertising agency environment
Strong understanding of how creative teams work (design, copy, art direction, production, etc.)
Experience using resource or project management tools (Smartsheets preferred)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—able to balance creative needs with agency requirements
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Preferred
Experience with Workday is a strong plus
