They are seeking a Senior Inventor CAD Drafter to join their agile team remotely, responsible for designing critical infrastructure components and collaborating with engineering and sales to create essential documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities
Assist in 'building the cloud' by designing and creating critical pieces of infrastructure for data centers
Create revisions/engineering change notices to update parts, drawings, and bill of materials templates
Assist in creating supporting documentation/drawings for already designed products to fulfill factory or customer needs
Create light drawing models for support engineers
Review and confirm bill of materials for support engineers/sales
Collaborate with engineering department on recommended design changes/new designs
Follow-up with quality issues until end resolution. Suggest action items based upon findings
Qualification
Required
Must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in creating standard engineering drawings with proper GD&T
Adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Able to multi-task and take direction, solve problems, and make decisions, and align to company objectives
Associate's degree in CAD, Mechanical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent experience
Minimum three years in engineering/manufacturing experience
At least three to five years of experience with 3D modeling in AutoDesk Inventor is a must
Experience with Navisworks & BIM Coordination
Proficient in PC Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This is a remote position so must be a self-starter
Preferred
Experience with inventory management software a plus (Epicor, NetSuite, FishBowl, etc.)
Experience with steel, welding, structural design, and quality control is a plus
Experience with aluminum and other metals, polycarbonate and other plastics, a plus
