Responsibilities
Define, implement, and enforce Salesforce architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks
Architect scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)
Lead technical evaluations for platform upgrades, third-party applications, and emerging Salesforce capabilities, including AI/Einstein features
Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Establish and maintain security architecture covering data governance, compliance, and audit controls
Design and develop complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture
Architect and implement enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, custom APIs, and complex orchestration patterns
Implement advanced security models including OAuth, SAML, SSO, field-level security, and encryption
Utilize Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and release management best practices
Evaluate and implement AI-driven capabilities such as Einstein Analytics, Einstein Bots, and Copilot features
Lead and mentor senior developers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams across onsite and offshore environments
Establish coding standards, peer review processes, and technical excellence initiatives
Contribute to technical roadmaps, capacity planning, and architectural review boards
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
Translate business strategies into technical roadmaps and solution architectures
Present technical proposals, trade-off analyses, and ROI justifications to senior and executive stakeholders
Partner with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, and IT leadership on Salesforce platform strategy
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior, architect, or principal-level role
Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce including Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, APIs, and multi-cloud implementations
Minimum of 4 Salesforce certifications, including: Platform Developer II (required), Application Architect or System Architect (required)
Extensive experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar iPaaS platforms and complex integration patterns
Strong experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
Proven leadership experience setting technical standards and driving organizational change
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), nCino, or similar industry solutions
Background in data migration, ETL processes, and master data management
Experience with AI/ML implementations or Salesforce Einstein capabilities
Knowledge of BRMS or decision automation platforms
PMP or similar project management certification
