Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and analyze datasets using SQL and relational database systems
Create clear, impactful data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to communicate trends and findings
Utilize Python (pandas or polars, matplotlib) for data cleaning, transformation, statistical analysis, and automation
Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to define analytical requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify operational patterns and performance metrics relevant to mission objectives
Ensure compliance with DoD data security and privacy standards throughout all analytics processes
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Security Clearance or held within the last 12 months
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence
Strong hands-on expertise with SQL and relational databases
5+ years of Tableau experience for dashboard creation and data visualization
Working knowledge of Python, specifically pandas or polars for data analysis and matplotlib for visualizations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience supporting DoD or federal government data initiatives
Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
