Responsibilities

Provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability
Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle
Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter
Participate in annual safety audits and ongoing compliance programs

Required

Currently serving on active duty
No more than 180 days left before separation date
Completed at least 180 consecutive days of active service
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience; including relevant coursework and internship experience
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license
Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings
Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle
Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter
Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances

Preferred

Associate's degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor's degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience
Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics
Electrical Technology Certificate
Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques
Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three-phase circuits
Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment
Collaborate with Field Service Technicians, taking direction from on-site leads
