Service Technician

Waste Resource Management (WRM) is dedicated to environmental protection and delivering exceptional service. The Service Technician plays a critical role in supporting field operations by performing tasks such as high-pressure washing, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform high-pressure washing and thorough job site cleanup
Operate field equipment, including jetters, vacuum units, and Hotsy pressure washers
Assist with confined space tasks and site preparation
Operate and maintain plant and yard equipment efficiently
Operation of company vehicles safely to and from job sites
Forklift operation as needed (experience preferred)
Support vacuum truck operators and participation in special projects
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs

Required

High school diploma or GED required, previous relevant experience may replace educational requirements
Self-motivated, dependable and safety conscious
Must be able to learn quickly, with ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures, safety policies, and other job specific written information
Ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, stoop. Climb and work in various weather conditions
Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Must have valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Valid Driver's License
Must be self-motivated and dependable
Ability to stay focused and avoid distractions (e.g., unnecessary cell phone use)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
Must pass background check and drug screening
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Forklift certification preferred
Mechanical aptitude preferred
Knowledge of pneumatic pumps is a plus
