Responsibilities
Plans and manages strategic programs with several interdependencies to other strategic programs and operations
Works closely with IT and Business Leaders in plan adherence
Partners with other PMO staff with financial support and staffing plans and supports the PMO Roadmap
Acts as the primary point of contact for IT Leadership & Teams supporting the program
Leads a team of project managers which may include program managers
Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts that could potentially put the program at risk
Creates and manages program budget
Communicates regularly with executive leadership on the progress and status of programs managed
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of portfolio management
Full knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
Experience leading a team of IT project managers
Intrinsically motivated, accountable, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
Excellent written and verbal communicator; exceptional relationship builder
Experience managing projects using Agile, Predictive, and Hybrid Methodologies
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing strategic IT programs with several inter-dependencies to other strategic IT programs and operations
Experience leading and developing a team of project and/or program management professionals
Minimum of 7 years of senior level IT professional experience such as Sr Software Developer, Sr Database Administrator, Business Analysis or related role
Preferred
Certified Product Owner, or PMI-PMP preferred
PMI-PgMP Certification highly desirable
