Vice President of Business Development/Sales

Responsibilities

Facilitate the growth of our inventory acquisition division
Focus on executing new inventory acquisition strategies
Develop relationships and maintain current partnerships with golf courses, country clubs, indoor simulator/fitting facilities, retailers, OEMs, etc
Host Trade-In Events to help facilities turn unused inventory into value for their members
Liquidate courses' excess inventory
Work directly with the CEO and the VP of Trade-Ins
Lead a small team of Trade-In Managers and the Course Partner Manager
Guide the team in relationship management with the courses
Assist the team in achieving goals for inventory acquisition
Focus on supply generation, with flexibility into demand generation as needed

Required

Familiarity with the golf industry
Strong expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning to identify and pursue growth opportunities
Proven experience in Sales and Account Management to build and nurture long-term client relationships
Leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and a results-driven mindset
Must be willing to get on the phone and get deals done!
Knowledge of golf equipment, the golf industry, and country clubs/courses
Prior experience in golf
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organization and time-management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree
Ability and willingness to travel
