Responsibilities

Perform computational analysis on omics data
Conduct laboratory experiments including histology, immunostaining, flow cytometry, molecular techniques, gene sequencing, live cell imaging, fluorescent 3D microscopy, cell culture
Prepare specimens and ensure conformity to specifications
Manage supply ordering, procurement, tracking, and receiving
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, cleaning, and sterility testing
Ability to participate in manuscript writing and contribute intellectually to experimental designs
Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely data and lab notebooks, Laboratory information management systems (LIMS), organizing and documenting results

Required

Bachelor's Degree
1 year of experience
Bachelor of Sciences in Biology, Bioinformatics and related fields with experience in mammalian/human biology
Experience in radiation biology and space biology
Experience in Health Sciences
Experience with computational tools for omics analysis microdissection, immunostaining, fluorescent microscopy, DNA/RNA extraction and library preparation for sequencing, and cell culture
