Corporate Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer
Post Consumer Brands is focused on executing their Continuous Improvement (CI) vision across the organization to achieve financial objectives. The Corporate Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coach team members on Lean principles, and facilitate the implementation of processes that drive efficiencies and best practices throughout the company.

Responsibilities
Drives continuous improvement efforts companywide. Provides leadership and strategic thinking for implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Facilitates and supports the continuous improvement process (e.g. behaviors, attitude, and culture), working with CI Managers to implement and sustain a continuous improvement program based upon Lean principles that supports meeting business goals and objectives
Leads the implementation of operating processes and systems that deliver consistent year-over-year continuous improvement opportunities
Coaches, trains, mentors, and models root cause analysis, problem solving methodology, strategy development, Leader Standard Work, 5S+1, and many other CI/Lean/Six Sigma/TPM philosophies. Viewed as an expert in these areas and speaks with authority and confidence when engaging others
Leads, identifies, and defines scope of continuous improvement planning and activities
Easily identifies opportunities and work closely with technical resources to help drive efficiencies and best practices
Be a change agent that challenges existing processes that create waste and non-value added work
Leads focused efforts aimed at breakthrough and incremental improvements in all areas of the organization to meet or exceed performance metrics
Monitors data and metrics to identify areas of waste and prioritize the development and implementation of solutions
Leads and/or participates on cross functional Kaizen teams to resolve problems or achieve desired goals
Provides appropriate documentation and project update communication to Supply Chain & Operations leadership. Collaborates with all departments and individuals affected by CI projects
Shares best practices and build relationships with CI resources at all PCB facilities

Qualification
Required
4-year degree in Science, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing), or Management field
Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies and ability to teach and model them
Strong analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
Ability to influence, mentor, and coach to get results through others
Results driven for being the low cost producer and supporting company growth strategies
Strong bias for action, while proving the ability to inspire others
Ability to communicate a compelling vision and inspired sense of purpose
Ability to solve highly complex problems and prioritize actions in a timely manner
Ability to establish clear directions, set stretching objectives, and organize work in a well-planned manner
Ability to speak candidly and provide constructive feedback in a professional manner
Ability to organize and manage projects; interact, support, facilitate and lead multi-functional work teams
Ability to build strong and diverse relationships across the business groups
Preferred
3+ years combined related work experience in a manufacturing/supply chain/corporate environment
Experience with successful leadership in executing continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma efforts
