Responsibilities

Design and implement control solutions for switchgear and power distribution applications
Program PLCs, HMIs, and develop SCADA systems and control logic for power management
Write operating sequences, test procedures, and user manuals
Create and modify software for complex transfer schemes, paralleling gear, and microgrid operations
Select components and develop bill of materials
Support factory testing and on-site startup and troubleshooting
Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering OR 7+ years of industry experience
Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems, MODBUS/DNP3/61850, SCADA integration
Familiarity with multifunction relays and utility coordination
Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Preferred

PE License
Experience with switchgear OEMs and field service support
Background in power generation controls or microgrid applications
