Start in 2026 SummerRoche is a leading biotechnology company, and they are seeking a Summer Intern for their Real-World and Clinical Data Strategy team. The intern will develop data innovation strategies and tools to enhance decision-making and evidence generation within Roche Product Development.

Responsibilities
Develop data innovation strategies by partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders
Build workflows capable of automating complex tasks. For instance, this may involve creating LangChain agents to extract structured data from an AACT API
Design a validation study to evaluate the accuracy of data innovation tools
Prototype an interface to allow scientists to interact with the data innovation tools
Qualification
Required
Must have attained a Master's Degree within the last year
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Must have attained a PhD within the last year
Required Majors: Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related fields
Preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Training in computer science, machine learning, data science, or statistics
Industry knowledge: curiosity for drug development in the biotechnology industry and solid background in statistics for clinical trial design
Python proficiency: strong experience with python development

LLM fundamentals: demonstrated experience building applications with LLMs
