Responsibilities
Assists in creating the master schedule, including analyzing data and working with administrators to create a schedule that ensures as many students as possible are fully scheduled
Ensures all grades are transcribed at the end of each grading period and that grades are accurately entered by teacher, updates student rank and GPA, uploads transcripts to transcript fulfillment service
Creates and maintains transcript records, including transcribing credits for transfer students, college coursework, middle school credits, and credits from credit recovery programs
Supports NCAA course approval process as needed. Uploads student transcripts to NCAA Clearinghouse and NAIA
Fulfills student transcript requests. Prepares and validates all transcripts for current and former students and provides these legal documents when requested
Produces curriculum guide/student forecast materials and enters forecasting information needed for student forecast records; uses SIS reports and makes corrections as needed, both independently and in collaboration with school counselors to ensure student forecasting is accurate and complete
Maintenance, collection, and data entry of CTE information to ensure schools earn grant monies to continue programs of study for career/technical path students
Utilizes SIS to maintain data and generate reports and queries including, but not limited to, student transcripts, student grades, progress reports, forecasting, and master schedule
Prepares statistical reports and other reports as requested by administration and other staff
Responsible for school immunization compliance reporting
Supports required state testing and ACT testing as needed
Assists counseling department with graduation requirements
Participates in continuing education on current SIS programs as instruction is required on a regular basis
Enters data and tracks passing work samples as necessary for graduation requirements
Assists with school internet presence as needed. Supports staff with SIS troubleshooting
Assists with the logistics and planning of parent/teacher conferences
Creates, designs, and assists with various long-term projects
Assists school staff, students, and families as needed
Fulfills other related duties as assigned
Fulfills performance standards identified in the evaluation process as required by the position

Qualification
Required
High school diploma and equivalent and one to two years of advanced training/experience in the specific job requirements
Comprehensive knowledge of grammar and the ability to use correct speech and compose routine correspondence is required
The position requires the ability to understand technical instructions (computers)
General knowledge of technical procedures or work activity
Working knowledge of school district practices or basic policies is necessary
Job proficiency can be acquired in twelve to twenty-four months
SIS system applications
Modern office practices and procedures

Safety practices
Computer technology and other equipment used in the workplace, as required by the position
Design and use spreadsheets
Read, understand, and carry out oral and written instructions
Learn the operation of telephones, computers, and other equipment used in the work as required by the position

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, administrators, co-workers, and the public
Adhere to the district requirements for a drug-free workplace
Communicate clearly and appropriately
Able to troubleshoot and maintain SIS equipment
Must be able to use district-related software systems, internet, and e-mail systems
