Signal Processing Engineer
Xcelerium is seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems Engineer to join their team, specializing in communication systems and radar technologies. The role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining signal processing systems and algorithms for radar/RF sensors and communications, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced Digital Signal Processing algorithms for RF sensing, radars, and communication systems
Analyze system performance, including signal quality, data throughput, and latency, to optimize DSP algorithms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into radar, RF sensing, and communication systems
Work on radar waveform generation, detection algorithms, target tracking, and signal processing in real-time
Develop simulation models to test DSP algorithms and system performance before deployment
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DSP systems
Ensure DSP algorithms meet system requirements and performance standards
Stay current with advancements in DSP, RF sensing, radar technology, and communications systems
Document design specifications, test results, and development processes
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Proven experience in DSP algorithm design and implementation, especially in radar and communications systems
Strong proficiency in signal processing techniques, including filtering, modulation, demodulation, FFT, and time-frequency analysis
Experience with radar signal processing, target detection, and tracking algorithms
Familiarity with communication system design, including OFDM, MIMO, and spread spectrum techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar
Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, GNU Radio)
Understanding of hardware/software integration and real-time DSP implementation
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
