Responsibilities

Initiate threading machines to test workpieces and troubleshoot any technical glitches
Scrutinize machined parts for strict adherence to specifications
Navigate blueprints and GD&T to execute detailed machine setups
Set and synchronize machine operations for flawless production cycles
Conduct repairs and replacements on die machinery
Drive hot or cold forging processes to achieve perfectly formed metals
Organize and affix dies and positioning tools with precision
Maintain peak condition of cutting tools via bench grinders
Coordinate the meticulous installation and adjustment of machine dies and components
Expertly manage the flow of metal through die systems, creating specific die impressions
Mentor and elevate team skills through training of less experienced personnel
Implement accurate use of gages for process enhancement
Prioritize machine longevity through comprehensive maintenance routines
Embed LEAP/5S, HSE standards seamlessly into operations

Required

Minimum one year of experience in machine operation or cold heading
