Responsibilities

Communicating with customers, assisting lenders with all service-related communications. This may include serving as a liaison between customers and lenders when lenders are working out of the office for various types of requests and assisting customers with questions and problem-solving
Developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of loan documentation, ensuring that terms are accurately reflected and the bank’s intended collateral position is achieved and preserved
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the various banking regulations that govern the lending activities in which the bank is engaged and manage the loan portfolio to a high level of compliance with these regulations
Managing the loan origination and closing process including the recording of loans on the bank’s core data system, interface with third party providers for such things as appraisals and real estate title work, and tracking of outstanding documentation items
Preparation of periodic EXCEL based financial statements designed to monitor regional performance
Assist in preparing and organizing the process for loans meeting the criteria for annual financial collection and formal review of customer relationships
Regularly running and delivering reports to aid in the management of the region’s loan portfolio
Using information from regularly available reports, investigate items which appear unusual or irregular to identify potential posting or other errors
