Responsibilities
Assist with administration and monitoring of application servers and web platforms, including WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTPD Server, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS)
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, backups, and configuration changes and monitor system performance
Assist in troubleshooting application and service issues, escalating as needed
Support application services in Azure App Services and related cloud platforms
Assist with automation and scripting of routine tasks (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in IT or system administration
Basic understanding of application servers and web platforms (examples: WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTPD Server, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle APEX, ORDS)
Familiarity with Azure App Services or other cloud application hosting platforms
Ability to participate in 24×7 on-call rotations
